Dogpaddling

I had my first indoor swim session on Friday at LuvMyK9s in Georgetown, ON.  I started out splashing up a storm then I quickly settled into a nice rhythm and even made my first ever water retrieve.

checking out the other swimsuits

That tickles!
Thanks, Trudy!
All dried off and ready for a long nap

  1. Way to go Bodi! You have to teach Riva to swim, she hates the water despite Kelsa showing her how much fun the water can be.

    1. Yes, we definitely need to get Riva into the the "swim of things." Has she tried swimming in a pool or just ponds/ lakes? Could it be the temperature of the water she doesn't like? A few swims with Trudy at LuvMyK9s may be just what Riva needs to get her hooked on swimming. It's actually more of a spa experience: pre- and post-swim soak in the "hot tub," shower, blow-dry and cookies. What more could a pup ask for?

  2. How fun! I wish we had something like that here! Amber loves to swim just not when it's 32 degrees out. How nice of them to wash and dry him afterward.
