Wiarton Willie (ON) and Shubenacadie Sam (NS) did not see their shadows but Fred la Marmotte (QC) and Punxsutawney Phil (PA) did.
I had 2 days of SNOW FUN this week before heavy rain and double digit temps washed all of the snow away. Mud is fun, too, but I'm not allowed to play in the mud! Sigh!
What I call mud, Mom calls grass. Lost track of how many times I've heard: "If you keep digging, there won't be any grass left come spring!" Mud or grass, makes no difference to me as they both taste yummy!
Thanks, Claire. It was a bit dizzying spinning around following the "snow zoomies" so I was thrilled to see that the camera had captured such a fun image.
Looks like there's a shadow. Only 6 more weeks of winter left, right? Not that you've had much winter this year.

No mud! What a mean mom you have Bodi :o). We have to play in the mud on the west coast or we'd never leave home lol.
