1 out of 100

I estimate that approximately 1 out of 100 shots taken is a "keeper."  Can't really be called a photographer equipped with just a Canon ELPH 100 and an outdated S5IS.  Not a clue about aperture, light balance, or ... .

Modus Operandi:
1.  Set the camera to continuous shooting
2.  Find the action
3.  Point and shoot
4.  Hope for a lucky shot

Outdoors, it is challenging to capture subjects in motion (unpredictable motion, at that) but occasionally the camera is angled correctly away from the sun and the shutter is depressed at the right moment.  Indoors, the lighting is usually too dim and the flash results in the dreaded "white eye."  A few more of this week's "keepers":
